All the bad news r discounted in the shipping co.,even a good news,such as the rebound of freight rate,the dividend annoucement in Febuary will drive the price of them up no less than 10%,but the question is to buy which one.If u use the p/e method,the lowest prospected p/e will goto rcl,psl and then tta.I prefer rcl and psl to tta,coz tta announced annual dividend payout already.BUY RCL AND PSL.

It depends on your tactic ,if you play short time that ok.Peoples know BDI probably rebound but it down trend . Therefore they are seeking stablize growth stock . I wander why do you interested commodity just liner , how do think about any commodity stock such downstream petrochemical or steel.

Before you start to invest in the stock like Liner biz or Tramp charter.

I would recommended for you to understand that it's the cycle stock.
As I am in the liner biz, I won't see the the rebound in term of biz trend.

I know the stock value is pretty cheap if you use the P/E right now.
But it's so difficult to predict income next year.
If it's 20% deduction in freight, I think it's pretty cheap stock right now.
but how about it 's reduction at 20% at first year and 30% at 2nd year and 40% at 4 years.
Therefore, my recommendation would be do not go for the biz which is under the downward trend.

The prospected EPS of y05=8bht and y06=6.80,translation to p/e05=3.37 and p/e06=3.97.Expexted dividend which will b annouced in Febuary=2bht/share,means =7.41%yield in 2 month or 44% annual yield.

จริงครับ ที่ว่าเรือคนละไซส์กัน

เพียงแต่ว่ามันจะใช้เวลา ประมาณซักปีหนึ่งถึง 2 ปีที่เค้าจะเอาเรือขนาดที่ใหญ่กว่าหน่อยมาแทนเรือเล็กกว่า แล้วก็ค่อยๆ แทนไปเรื่อยๆ
ที่นี้เรือที่เคย เรือ  1500 teus จะโดนแทนด้วย 2500 teus แล้ว ก็เอาเรือ  1500 teu มาแทนเรือ 900 teus. เป็นขั้นๆไปครับ

ส่วน ปัญหาของ เรือ liner จะไม่มีปัญหาเรื่อง facilities ที่ท่าเรือ หรือ ความลึก มากเหมือนเรือ tramp ครับเพราะส่วนใหญ่จะทำขนาดมาตรฐาน

ดังนั้นผมว่า PSL น่าจะมีเปรียบ RCL นิดหน่อย ในระยะยาว
แต่ผมว่าระยะสั้น เก็งกำไร rcl ปันผลเหลือเฟือ แน่นอนครับ
