Hello everyone!
What do you think about investing in thai shares through US-traded CEFs (closed-end funds)? Currently TTF is trading at an 11% discount to portfolio value. The portfolio (10 biggest positions) is:
PTT Pcl N/A 11.9
PTT Exploration & Production P N/A 7.83
Bangkok Bank Pcl N/A 6.93
Siam Commercial Bank Pcl N/A 6.69
Minor International Pcl N/A 5.17
Advanced Info Service Pcl N/A 5
Banpu Pcl N/A 4.61
Kasikornbank Pcl N/A 4.3
Bank of Ayudhya Pcl N/A 3.82
Asian Property Development Pcl
You can see it on this link:
http://www.etfconnect.com/select/fundpa ... ?MFID=3855
Costs: Yearly fees 1,5% + trading fees.
What do you think about the stock portfolio?
Does the 11% discount compensate the costs?
There is also another thai CEF: TF, but it has a smaller discount and higher costs. Here is the link:
