Guideline for term assignment
Select a public company (registered in SET) you like, and then analyze its performance using at least 2 consecutive-year annual reports (you can obtain paperback reports at the library of the SET) plus any other information you acquired elsewhere (e.g. web pages of www.set.or.th, www.settrade.com, www.thaivi.com, etc.
Your choice is limited to only two industries, which are Energy & Utilities or Property Development (for Tuesday class) and Communication or Entertainment& Recreation (for Sunday class). The main reason is to make sure that your analyses are comparable in term of quality and effectiveness. I will ensure that the numbers of groups per industry are somewhat equalized.
Your report should provide (but not limited to) the following:
Executive summary
Industry and other exogenous factors analysis
Companys competitive analysis
Companys financial analysis
Suggestions on future directions
References
Submission is due on July 19th (for Tuesday class) and July 24th (for Sunday class). The deliveries include:
1. Paper report
You are required to make presentation in team (shared load) on 26th July (for Tuesday class) and 31st July (for Sunday class). A copy of powerpoint or other presentation materials need to be submitted on the presentation day.
Your work shall be graded on both paper report and presentation in terms of quality and efficiency.
Late submission will result in score deduction (2% per day), no submission is accepted if delaying more than 5 days.
