โรงไฟฟ้าระยอง และขนอม ที่จะลดลงตามอายุสัญญาซื้อขายไฟฟ้าที่ใกล้หมดในปี 57 และ 59  แปลว่าอะไรไม่เข้าใจ
โรงไฟฟ้าที่ระยอง และขนอม เป็น ของใคร เป็นของ EGCO หรือเปล่า
ถ้าหมดสัญญาขายไฟแล้วยังงัย ยังสามารถผลิตไฟฟ้าได้มั้ย
ถ้าผลิตได้ ก็น่าจะขายไฟโดยต่อสัญญาได้โดยง่าย  งงมาก

Both KEGCO and REGCO are power plants in Rayong and Kanom belonging to EGCO Group krub.

Both power plants sells power to EGAT under long term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that will expire in the years you mentioned.

After the PPA expiry date, EGAT is not obligated to buy the power from these two plants.  But at the same both plants, having operated for 25 years would have been fully depreciated and all investment costs & equity return recovered anyway.

Technically speaking the plants can still be operated krub.  It is just very old and much less efficient to operate than a new power plant.  Think of it like an old bus.  Can it still run?  Yes.  Should it still be used?  Maybe as back-up during peak periods at best krub.  That is probably the reason why EGAT will likely not extend the PPA of these plants.
