In Ayuddha Period,the glorious period of thai history,
On that time many foreigners from wastern countries came to visit ayudhaya.

There was a curious foreigner came to ayuddhaya  

One day,the curious foreigner came to market for site seeing.

He interested to see many kinds of tropical fruits in Thailand which were being sold by fruit sellers at the market in ayudhaya.

The foreigner could speak a little thai words and also some basic simple sentences but not enough for efficient communication with thai people.

More than that his listening skill was very low especially in listening Thai languish.

He stopped at in front of a fruit shop.

He saw a"Ma-moung",He wanted to khow that what does it call in thai? so he asked the old female fruit seller that  
"Nii-A-rai ?."
The fruit seller tell him "มะม่วง มะม่วง " for many times but the foreigner was unable to pronounce "Ma-moung"  
so finally the fruit seller cursed that ".แม่งโง่ จริงจริงเลย ................."  

The foreigner heard that "Mango"  
"Oh,I see it is Mango"
so he took a note in his notebook and call it mango.

After that he asked the fruit seller about a dark purple fruit "มังคุด".
The fruit seller tried to tell him many times that it was  
"Mang-Kut"  
The foreigner fails to pronounce the word that satisfy the fruit seller.  
The fruit seller again cursed in thai languish that ".แม่งโง่xxxxx จริงจริง............"  

The foreigner heard that "Mangosteen" so he took a note in his small note book and call it "mangosteen".

Next, The foreigner picked Fa-Rang up and asked that "Nii A rai" The fruit seller said "..กูว่าแล้ว มันถามอีกแล้ว......"

The foreigner heard that "guava" and then he took a note again.

The foreigner did not stop asking,he look at ".กล้วย .." ,he point his finger to that yellow fruits and asked the fruit seller again "Nii a rai?"
The fruit seller could not withstand anymore and then said that  
".บ้าแน่แน่ กูต้อง บ้าแน่แน่ ..................."
The foreigner said "Oh ! I see ,it is BANANA"

the fruit seller was angry because the foreigner asked many time but he did not buy any fruits.

The fruit seller picked up a Ma-La-Kor and point the Ma-La-Kor to the foreigner face ,she needed to throw the Ma-la-Kor to the head of foreigner.

Fortunately,The fruit seller's nephew came at the scene and then warned his aunt to stop by saying that ".ป้า ป้า อย่า ป้า ป้า อย่า ไป ทำเขา.........."

The foreigner understood that the Ma-la-Kor is named Papaya in Thai,so he said "Oh! it is a papaya" and then he took a note into his small notebook before going away to other shop.
