Subj. : Reporting of the Operation Results for the 1st Quarter of 2004

To : Directors and the Manager of the Stock Exchange of Thailand

Attachment: A copy of the Financial Statements and the Consolidated Financial
Statements ended at 31 March 2004 and 2003


Thai Metal Drum Mfg. Public Company Limited (the "Company") have
submitted herewith the Financial Statements as of the 1st Quarter of 2004 ended
at 31 March 2004, which have been audited by the Certified Public Accountant.


The Company is hereby to inform that the operation result of the Company
and its subsidiaries as of the 1st Quarter of 2004 have shown gross profit of
Baht 34.04 million, increasing Baht 3.13 million or equal to 10.12% in
comparison to that of the same period as of last year.The Company have adjusted
the allowance for doubtful accounting and the investment in subsidiaries as at
31 March 2003 and the retained earning accounts, which have resulted the gross
profit to be reduced Baht 13.16 million from the former reporting.


The Company and subsidiaries have received sales income amounting to
Baht 304.91 million, increasing Baht 32.93 million or equal to 12.11% in
comparison to that of the same period as of last year. Sales costs against
sales income of the Company and subsidiaries have increased from 76.53% in 2003
to 79.24% in 2004. Interest expenses has decreased from Baht 0.89 million to
Baht 0.57 million in 2004.

ใน Q1 ปี 46 มีการได้รับเงินจากหนี้สูญ ทำให้กำไรต่อหุ้นเป็น 2.95 บาท แต่ผลประกอบการในไตรมาสนั้นเป็น 2.03 ต่อหุ้น......จึงเกิดการคลาดเคลื่อนกันเล็กน้อย

สำหรับไตรมาสแรกนี้ ก็นับว่า ใช้ ได้ ครับ ที่ได้ กำไร 2.28 บาทต่อหุ้น หรือ 34 ล้านบาท

ถ้าอย่างนั้น EPS ของทั้งปี 46 จะลดลงเป็น 8.01-2.95+2.07 = 7.13 หรือเปล่าครับ

ข้างล่างนี้ ในกรณีที่ EPS ปี 46 ยังคงเป็น 8.01

ทั้งปี 8.01 บาท.........ผู้ตรวจสอบใหม่ คงเอายอด ที่หัก หนี้สูญที่ได้มา ออก......ขอ เป็น เทคนิค การแจ้ง หน่อยไม่ได้ หรือ ครับ คุณครรชิต..... สุดยอดนักสืบ คอยจับ ผิด อยู่เลยเรื่อย

ตกลงผมปรับ ลด EPS ของปี46

EPS ของทั้งปี 46 จะลดลงเป็น 8.01-2.95+2.07 = 7.13

และ ประมาณการ EPS ของทั้งปี 47 ก็จะเปลี่ยนเป็น 7.13-2.07+2.28 = 7.34

ซึ่งหลังจากปรับเปลี่ยนแล้วข้อมูลจะเป็นดังข้างล่างนี้
