Many of you received Margin of Safety emailed to you through the kindness of one member on here. Is anyone kind enough to return the favour (just once) by sending it to me?
I would appreciate it! thanks -

Good point, but since it is out of print and the library allows you to photocopy it freely, and there are so many floating around I am not sure what harm it does, but maybe I am misguided.

Yes, technically it is stealing.
If he posted here that it was ok I would request it.

Not that I am under US jurisdiction, but copyright infringement is not
theft, e.g. see the US Supreme Court opinion on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dowling_v._United_States:
"The infringer of a copyright does not assume physical control over the
copyright nor wholly deprive its owner of its use. Infringement
implicates a more complex set of property interests than does
run-of-the-mill theft, conversion, or fraud."
Even more to the point, we may not even be infringing copyright in this
case (though I am not a lawyer). See e.g. the Fair Use Doctrine:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright# ... ir_dealing
"Copyright does not prohibit all copying or replication. In the United
States, the fair use doctrine, codified by the Copyright Act of 1976 as
17 U.S.C. Section 107, permits some copying and distribution without
permission of the copyright holder or payment to same."
In my personal case - I have the book on order from an online book store.
Cheers,
Luc
