1) Energy - Protesters cause rescheduling of public hearing - I still favor overweighting the IPP plays
- Yesterday 300 anti-nuclear, anti-coal protestors caused rescheduling of the Power Development Plan Public Hearing.
- According to the Energy Policy and Planning Office, the bidding is still scheduled to take place late this year, so there is plenty of time for a public hearing.

- CS believes that entire bidding process will be pushed back as a result of this protest.  The Request for Proposal to potential IPP bidders originally scheduled for this April will most likely moved later into this
year.

- Even if the bidding is delayed by one year, the impact is minimal to the NPV's of EGCOMP (neutral, tp Bt90) and RATCH (outperform, tp Bt46.25).  CS prefers RATCH over EGCO due to valuations.  CS notes that environmental issues at Map Ta Phut may hamper further expansion of the coal fired BLCP (owned by EGCOMP and BANPU), which we or the market are not factoring into
our tp anyway.

- My view: As the utility companies benefit from falling interest rates and have high earnings transparency and predictability, I recommend that dedicated Thai funds overweight the IPP plays, namely EGCOMP, RATCH, BANPU, and TOP.

CS เชียร์ที่จะให้ซื้อ RATCH มากกว่า EGCOMP เนื่องจากการคำนวนมูลค่าครับ.... เค้าคิดว่า tp (target price) ของ ratch = 46.25 baht, egcomp = 90 baht.... outperform นี่แปลว่าดีครับ (outperform market)..... ถ้า underperform สิคร้บแย่....  เค้าให้ความเห็นว่ามีปัญหาเรื่องกับสิ่งแวดล้อมมาบตาพุต ซึ่งอาจทำให้ BLCP ขยายตัวยาก โดยที่ Banpu กับ Egcomp เป็นเจ้าของ.... แต่เค้าก็ไม่ได้คำนวน BLCP เป็น มูลค่าใน target price ครับ

Underperform , Outperform กะ Neutral มันบอกทิศทางหุ้น เทียบกับอะไรซักอย่างครับ เช่นเทียบกับดัชนี SET หรือเทียบกับดัชนีรายกลุ่ม

Underperform ก็เช่น SET ขึ้นไป 20% พี่แกเพิ่งขึ้นตามได้ 2%
Outperform ก็ขึ้นมากกว่าเพื่อน SET ขึ้น 5% ของเราขึ้น 20%
Neutral ก็งั้นๆ ไปไหนไปกัน ขึ้นขึ้นตาม ลงลงตาม ไม่หวือหวา

Overweight , Underweight เป็นการบอกน้ำหนักของหุ้นครับ ว่าอ้วนไปหรือผอมไป เอ้ย ไม่ใช่ เป็นวิธีการแนะนำน้ำหนักการลงทุนของนักวิเคราะห์น่ะครับ เช่น Overweight ก็ควรซื้อเยอะกว่าปกติซักหน่อย แต่ก่อนเคยซื้อ 5% ของ Port เพิ่มเป็น 10% นะ Underweight ก็ลดลงหน่อย แต่ก่อนมี 10% ตอนนี้ลดลงเหลือ 5% อะไรประมาณนั้นครับ ต้องใช้คู่กับพวก Buy, Sell, Strong Buy, Strong Sell ที่โบรกบอกมาด้วยครับ

Oversold กับ Overbought เป็นศัพท์เทคนิคครับ ขายมากเกินไปกับซื้อมากเกินไป อย่างปกติ 10 วันซื้อขายกัน 10 ล้านหุ้น ตอนนี้ 10 วันขึ้นมา 10% 50 ล้านหุ้นก็ Overbought เวลาลงก็เหมือนกัน แต่หุ้นบางตัวมันมีวอลุ่มผิดปกตินะครับ ซื้อๆขายๆ หลายรอบ อาจพลาดได้ อย่าง TNDT มีหุ้น IPO 20 ล้านหุ้น เทรดกันวันละ 40 ล้านหุ้นประจำ ต้องดูด้วยครับ
